Walking Cane Company presents Genuine Bamboo walking canes manufactured in the USA. The difference in our bamboo canes is in the construction. The handle is attached to the shaft with hickory dowel for strength and then epoxy into place, and then we wrap the joint with 20 pound test hemp string which is also glazed in epoxy; this prevents the handle from splitting out the shaft. Then the entire cane is sealed with 4 coats of tinted lacquer to the desired color. We are confident that this bamboo walking cane will outlast any other bamboo walking cane on the market.

This walking cane is not exactly like the one the website, this one has a custom handle actually made from bamboo, the joinery connecting the handle to shaft is made from hickory wood and wrapped in 20 pound test hemp and glazed in epoxy, I leaned on it and no give at all. The cane measures a little over 39” from the bottom of the rubber tip to the top of the handle, the shaft and handle is about 1” in diameter.
